The funny thing about Baldi Konijn is that his is THE GUY behind most of the concepts of Darksiders GENESIS.
When he did that fan art it was just a fan art and he wasn't working for Airship.
Then, in september of that same year he was hired by Airship in order to work on Darksiders Genesis.

Baldi was also the winner of the contest for Battle Chasers Nightwar with "The Gargoyle":

Baldi is really an awesome artist and is the "key artist" of Darksiders Genesis
